FRONT PROJECTORS

Ask for prices on a Full 4K front projector for home cinema.  Don't skimp by getting a 1080p device that you will later regret.  4K Pro UHD 3-chip brand name front projectors for the home are under $2,500.  Home users can spend $2,498 today and exceed the quality of a $10,000 HD projector purchase from 10 years ago. Also, Ultra Short-Throw (UST) home laser projectors are available for $3,499 offering a credenza appliance that eliminates costly projector ceiling mounts and cable pathways.

For business, where lights have to stay on during the presentation, an above the screen wall mounted UST laser projector for $3,500 is quite a value.  A $3,499 HD laser front projector still requires the purchase of a $1,000+ 100" projector screen, however 100" 4k televisions are cost 1,000s more today.

As long as you can control the room lighting, front projectors represent literally twice the value of large heavy wall-hogging HD flat panel display alternatives.

Nothing beats a front projector for recreating the theatrical experience due the sheer size of the image.  More importantly the image quality of front projection has improved so dramatically over the past several years that people who don't know they are watching a front projector, may actually think they are watching a giant flat panel due to increased brightness, sharpness, contrast, color palette and three-dimensionality of the picture.  Sporting events, concerts or movies are much more engaging and realistic on a front projector/big screen than a "small" flat panel.

A traditional projector needed for larger screen sizes can drop down from the ceiling, be hidden in or above a cabinet or be concealed (albeit the lens) in the adjacent room.  Front projectors allow more placement flexibility.  Most front projectors are small and light and offer zoom and vertical lens shift capabilities, which means that a projector can be placed at nearly any height in a room and almost any distance from the screen.  Projectors with additional horizontal lens shift capability can be placed up to 47-70% off screen center as well.
